In today’s landscape, delivering an exceptional user experience is paramount. Sofico fully embraces this and is actively seeking a UX Team lead. In this role, you will shape the strategy, nurture team growth, and promote a user-centric vision throughout the company.
The primary challenge is to advance UX maturity across a diverse range of products in an international setting, which requires a thorough comprehension of the distinct contexts.
Your main responsibility is to develop and execute a clear UX strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
**Additionally, you will**:
Translate this strategy into a clear plan you coordinate and follow up on.
Lead and mentor the growing team in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Establish and grow the current design system and design guidelines.
Offer guidance and collaborate with product teams to drive consistency and excellence in UX across products and platforms.
Develop a “voice of the customer” program and set up best practices regarding user research and product discovery.
Follow-up industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the UX team.

Through your eye for detail and problem-solving approach, you create user experiences that are visually appealing but also highly functional and effective.
You lead by example and have a hands-on mentality. You are willing to take on various tasks and share knowledge with the team.
In addition to being a collaborative team player, you work effectively with diverse stakeholders across the world, fostering partnerships and driving success through effective communication.
**You also have**:
Proven experience (4+ years) in leading and managing UX teams in a product organization.
A strong background in user-centered design principles, user research methodologies, and interaction design.
Familiarity with the complexity of enterprise software and designing solutions that work in different portals for different stakeholders.
Demonstrated proficiency in enhancing overall UX maturity within cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch.
Experience in setting up a design system is a bonus, but an interest in doing so is a must.
