Waylay is actively searching for a Business Economics and Applied Economics college student for a ROI Studies Intern position to be based in Ghent, Belgium to join our automation technology company and support our ongoing efforts to measure the return on investment of our solutions for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to gain real-life job experience for university credit only.

**Position Overview**

Return on investment (ROI) is a key differentiator in the sales process as it helps us with setting the correct price and convincing the customer Waylay is active in a couple of verticals that each have their own business and cost drivers, like capital investment cost, maintenance costs, derived costs and cost optimization possibilities.

As the ROI Studies Intern, you will be responsible for working closely with business development and sales teams to develop and execute ROI studies that showcase the value of Waylay's solutions to prospects and customers. This will involve conducting research, gathering and analyzing data, and working with customers to understand their business needs and how our solutions are helping them achieve their goals. - Collect data on customer ROI using various research methods such as surveys, customer interviews, and data analysis tools.
- Analyze data and create reports on customer ROI, including financial analysis and case studies.
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to communicate the results of the ROI studies to customers and prospects.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on product features that drive customer ROI.
- Help develop ROI-focused sales materials, including presentations, case studies, and whitepapers, and other duties as assigned.

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to tell a story and make recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with financial analysis and modeling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in automation technology and its potential to drive business value.
