We are looking for a Data Privacy Manager
_(internally known in our Global Career Framework as Auditing/ Compliance Manager)_ to join our Wolters Kluwer Global Legal and Compliance department.
About this role
As our Data Privacy Manager, you will oversee the data privacy processes and activities within the TAA division of Wolters Kluwer in Europe, US and APAC and represent the TAA division on data privacy. You will contribute to, and support, the development and the implementation of Wolters Kluwer’s global data privacy baseline, manage with the Privacy Champions and Data Protection Officers in the business units, and coordinate with and engage various stakeholders within TAA such as Information Security, Legal, Product Development, Marketing & Sales etc. The Data Privacy Manager will prepare and present reports for the Divisional Management Board.
Primary focus as our Data Privacy Manager will be to coordinate, monitor and advise the TAA business units with regard to policy-making and the implementation of privacy policies and procedures to protect the TAA division, and ensure that these are implemented, applied consistently and tested across the division. You will help ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy laws, with a focus on GDPR but also including other relevant laws such as the CPRA. Also, you will be responsible for providing necessary support to business units in performing privacy audits, customer audits and customer due diligence on data privacy matters.
This position is based in Northern Europe, preferably the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Norway or Sweden.

**Responsibilities**:
- Serve as first point of contact for the TAA division and Corporate Privacy Office for data privacy matters within the TAA Division- Advise and support the TAA division on data privacy programs, processes, and data privacy laws, regulations, and requirements (including GDPR, CPRA and other data privacy laws and regulations)- Monitor international data privacy developments, trends, and legislation, and identify related best practices and impact for Wolters Kluwer and TAA specifically- Advise, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of privacy policies and procedures and (new) privacy initiatives (e.g., new legislation) and the continuous improvement cycle of existing privacy programs and processes- Create, develop, and enhance data privacy compliance tools and templates- Responsible for accuracy and completeness of the processing activities within OneTrust (privacy management platform)- Monitor and report on the division’s compliance and programs reports for the Divisional Management Board and Corporate Privacy Office- Work with different functions/business units as needed to support customer-oriented privacy needs and inquiries- Support and coordinate privacy related matters in connection with M&A and divestment activities with the responsible business lead- Support the execution of audits, internal, and external, including potentially customer-oriented- Provide advice to various stakeholders such as Information Security and IT teams on data privacy matters as they evaluate privacy implications of, and implement effective privacy solutions for their business activities involving the collection and use of personal data- Advise on, and manage, data privacy incident response issues in accordance with the established global policies and guidelines- Contribute to and support ongoing global privacy programs and continuous improvement with a focus on establishing best practices and evolution of the privacy organization- Coordinate and manage the divisional meeting structure with the Privacy Champions and Data Protection Officers- Create awareness and provide training to various stakeholders and target groups on data privacy
**Profile**:
- Bachelor/ master’s degree in Law or IT is a strong preference- A CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) or equivalent education/certification is preferred- At least 5 years of experience in managing data privacy matters in global organizations- Experience with business control/risk management activities- Experience with advising & implementing data privacy, preferably GDPR- Experience in building and leveraging an international network and working effectively cross functionally- Stron
