The Space business within QinetiQ is involved in a wide variety of exciting projects and programs, from developing and building satellites to complex space instruments and mechanisms. Because of the growth of the business in Belgium, a dedicated Project Management Office (PMO) will be put in place to support the organization by project governance and as such enhance the quality and speed of our project delivery.
As PMO Administrator and Document Configuration Manager, you are responsible for the correct set-up of new projects and contract changes in our systems. During the project execution, you will support the project teams with the document configuration management and be the first point of contact for the customer on this matter.
**Your key responsibilities will be**:
Project set-up
- Assure the projects (proposals, ATP projects, contracts) are set-up in the AX system at the start of the project. Budgets and milestone payment plans are correctly reflected (in line with the contract).
- Support the project teams with the handover from sales to delivery (handover, KO preparation)
- Support with the implementation of the project plan in EpicFlow.
- Set-up Eclipse and Pro.file at the start of the project.
Document configuration management
- You will be the interface between the project teams and the customer in case datapacks and mandatory documents need to be delivered. You will assure the documents are released and in the correct format. In case of missing documents or discussions on version control, you will be the first point of contact.
- You will standardize how the project datapack is delivered and stored in Pro.file, in cooperation with the Head of PMO.
- You will support the Portfolio and Project Managers with the administrative project management work.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in an appropriate discipline.
- Highly motivated to get documents organized and structured in an IT system.
- Good communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to both work independently and in a team and to deliver high quality outputs in a timely manner.
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
