Quality Controller Production

Dicofoods (until recently Dicogel and Begro) is a frozen vegetable company with headquarters in Ardooie. Together with the company Westfro (also frozen vegetables) and Roger & Roger (producer of Croky potato chips, among others), they are part of a family owned company. Dicofoods and Westfro produce and commercialize frozen vegetables, vegetable mixtures, fruit, potatoes and herbs for customers in the retail, foodservice and industrial sectors. Today they jointly realize a turnover of approximately 160 million euros with 450 enthusiastic employees. During the season, the number of employees can increase significantly.
**Your tasks**:
After an internal training, you will be given a very varied range of tasks:
- You will perform various quality checks according to well-defined procedures, both on the shop floor and in the lab:
- the entry check of the fresh vegetables and purchased frozen products
- the process control (blanching (CCP1) and mixing department)
- the final check
- You fill in the necessary quality documents meticulously.
- You propose and carry out corrective actions where necessary and also record them.
- You take care of welcoming new employees in your department.
- You take samples of the water purification
- You help ensure that housekeeping rules and hygiene are followed
- You report to the quality manager
**Your profile**:
- You have an A2 degree in agribusiness or other or you are equivalent by experience
- You speak Dutch/French and/or English
- You are accurate and have an eye for detail
- Your focus is on order, tidiness and hygiene
- You have respect for the procedures
- You have a great sense of responsibility
- You are sufficiently communicative and assertive
- You have a flexible mindset
- Experience in the food sector is an asset
