Consolidation Manager

**We are currently recruiting an experienced Consolidation Manager to join our HQ team.**
As part of the Group Finance team and reporting to the Head of Financial Controlling you will oversee the monthly group consolidations and ensure a timely and qualitative delivery of financial statements and notes.
Major responsibility areas will be to
- Prepare the monthly group consolidated accounts
- Lead and/or participate in improvement initiatives for the financial consolidation reporting process and tools
- Support controllers and financial managers during the reporting periods, in solving reporting questions
- Elaborate the quarterly consolidated accounts report to investors and the annual audited report
- Provide financial information to different stakeholders by running existing and developing new reports
- Help the Group controller in monitoring the use of IFRS accounting policies within the group.
- Take on ad hoc assignments, which may require occasional travelling
- Manage external audit processes in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain, manage, and document all working files, systems in an up-to-date and relevant manner. Ensure consistency and accuracy of working files.
**Your profile**
- Degree in Finance/Controlling
- 5+ years' general relevant financial experience within an international industrial (ideally HQ) business environment
- Audit or Project Management experience is an asset
- Excellent understanding of general accounting, group consolidation processes and IFRS
- Digitally savvy and keen on continuous improvement
- Hands-on person, eager to continuously learn new things to deepen your expertise related to consolidation
- Good business partnering skills
- Ability to analyse, prioritise and respond to multiple demands on time and resources
- Fluent in English - written and spoken
- Good computer skills in standard business programmes such as MS Office
- Familiar with consolidation tools such as SAP BPC
- Result-driven and collaborative
- Flexible and proactive
- Good communication skills
- Able to impact and influence others
- Good organisational, team working and facilitation skills
- Can demonstrate drive for achievement, a high concern for standards; highly self motivated
