Introduction

Donaldson's Sales Representative plays a key role in creating measurable market value and authentic and long-lasting customer relationships within the industrial sector. This role is an ideal next step for inside sales officers / inside sales engineers, looking to expand their commercial skill sets.

We will provide training on our products and processes to help you grow into our future key account manager.

This role supports Donaldson’s "Vehicle Electrification & Medical Devices" department.

Within the VE&MD department we develop, manufacture and supply venting solutions that best meet our customer’s requirements. Properly designed venting systems provide protection from contaminants along with pressure equalization during normal operating conditions, helping lead to longer-lasting enclosures and battery life cycles. The venting system must also be capable of providing immediate pressure relief, in the rare case of thermal runaway, to help avoid component failure or damage to additional cells.

Role and responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of EMEA customers and support key account manager & sales manager.- Sales development (Find new customer & identify potential on the market & up-selling).- through an efficient, prompt and friendly communication in order to maintain excellent customer relationships.- Handle venting inquiries and provide information in order to resolve problems, clarify matters or expedite progress on any aspect of customer relations.- Issue and follow up on written quotations for venting products within set price and discount levels in order to convert opportunities into sales.- Gather cost and technical data of special components when requested in order to complete accurate quotation package.- Establish key communication link between customer and internal departments (sales, service, logistics, finance,.) in order to keep all involved parties aware of customer activities.- Collate and distribute client feedback on quality, new projects, budgets and competitor information.- Made data available for the appropriate department in order to improve quality and increase sales opportunities.- Collect and combine needed sales data in order to deliver monthly and quarterly status and results presentations to internal team to ensure a deep enough understanding of clients’ status and needs.- Achieve sales and profit targets.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor Degree with technical or commercial orientation.- 3-5 years of experience in an inside sales department or similar (International environment is an asset).- Good working knowledge of Office packages and analytical skills.- Good understanding of the company’s activities and knowledge of our sales strategies- Passion for learning in new technologies and ambitious to keep growing in your commercial role.- Fluent in English (Knowledge of French or German is an asset)- This position is based in our office in Leuven-Heverlee (Belgium)
