To further establish their footprint on the Belux market, piloting from their offices located in Brussels-Zaventem, our client is currently looking to hire a (M/F) : SALES MANAGER ON & OFF-TRADE BELUX.
**Your mission**:
- client seeks a highly-capable, sales manager capable of piloting the Belgian structure securing the commercial success of the company. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing, leading and developing the sales team and resources, driving the national strategy in conjunction with the marketing, trade marketing and overall global strategy.
- Your non-exhaustive tasks
- Defining and executing omnichannel strategies in line with business requirements and category strategy
- Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development, product and P&L knowledge development.
- Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organisation’s presence throughout Belux.
- Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organisation and control of KAM’s, and sales representatives to accomplish specific objectiveEstablish strong customer relationships together with the team both on the Off-Trade, On-Trade and Digital channels.
- Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans.
- Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximising business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
- Ensuring complete cohesion between the different local departments with their peers in Holland to ensure alignment of Category, Channel and Field sales plans.
- Plan and implement a specific appraisal system that describes the responsibilities and performance standards for each member of the sales team, set individual territory sales and commission targets and administer the commission plan.
**The required experience**:
- You have at least 8 years of experience in a strategic commercial role and have a proven track record in commercial functions** ideally both On-Trade & Off-Trade in Belgium **;
- You are a** strong people manager** with strong coaching and active listening skills;
- You have a** holistic and strategic view**;
- As a team player, you will ensure good collaboration between the departments within your unit;
- You have strong stakeholder management skills;
- You’re familiar with world-class customer management techniques (Customer Scorecard, Business Plans development, Category Management, Conceptual Selling, Strategic Negotiation).
- Proven track records in Introducing or Extending core categories.
- Strong analytical and synthetic skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Must have a clear understanding of category management concepts
- Strong financials (P&L) understanding
- Ability to communicate on a professional level in Dutch, French and English;
