**2. The main responsibilities of the role**

The Benelux Asset Management team is looking for an intern to support their team based in Brussels.

The future intern will work directly with the Asset Management and ESG Managers.

**Key Accountabilities**:
The intern will assist the Asset Management team and will contribute to:

- Collect and analyse all relevant and updated data / documentation at asset level (technical, legal, tax and commercial data)
- Proving analysis contributing to the definition of the asset strategy, the preparation of the annual business plans
- Set-up financial models (DCF)
- Contribute to the preparation and the monitoring of the asset budget (revenues, opex and capex) coordinating with the property managers or asset operators
- Monitor external valuations
- Monitor asset KPI’s and contribute to reporting of the investors
- Contribute to the supervision of tenancy issues, claims and potential law suits with legal advisors
- Contribute to the implementation of the marketing and letting strategy
- Contribute to the monitoring of refurbishment or development programs coordinating with internal and/or external development experts.
- Assist in the preparation of disposals (data room, valuation, RFP, etc...)
- Support some investments underwritings led by the Acquisitions teams

**Support in the Strategic integration of ESG in the local portfolio**:
The intern will support internal teams in providing the data, answers and evidence required to complete GRESB and other reporting requirements. Bring technical support to asset managers and property managers in understanding the requirements, checking the data available and improving data coverage and quality. Other ESG tasks may be:

- Support teams in the use our ESG data management platform across countries, strengthening the database over time
- Provide assistance in development of ESG action plans and targets into annual asset plans including capex and investment proposals
- Development of case studies to demonstrate measurable evidence of actions and progress

**_Education/Qualifications_**
- Postgraduate studies in Finance, Management, Engineering or Real Estate

**_Experience_**
- Proven interest in real estate
- Understanding of legislations and/or financial techniques related to real estate investments

**_Competencies_**
- Accomplished interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently in a team in an international and matrix environment
- Autonomous, initiative, entrepreneurial and result driven culture
- Strong analytical and synthesis capacity
- Verbal and written communications and presentation skills
- Creative thinking, capability to develop innovative solutions
- Fluent in English, French and Dutch
