Je komt terecht bij Signpost, het team dat zich specialiseert in hardware voor scholen. Dit team staat in voor de aankoop, voorbereiding, levering en herstelling van laptops en Chromebooks. Al onze toestellen worden geleverd met een uitgebreide 'Next Business Day On-Site'-garantie.
Momenteel zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Field Service Technician regio Mechelen om onze groei te ondersteunen en ons ondernemende, dynamische team te versterken.
Hoe ziet jouw dag als Field Service Technician eruit?
Gezien onze uitgebreide 'Next Business Day On-Site'-garantie sta je als Field Service Technician dagelijks in voor het verlenen van service op scholen of bij studenten thuis. Je gaat defecte toestellen herstellen, of ze nu binnen of buiten garantie zijn. De servicetermijn bedraagt 3 tot 6 jaar.
In deze functie kom je in aanraking met verschillende processen en procedures in een breed productveld. Na een korte training ga je meteen aan de slag, maar je kan steeds bij je collega's terecht voor bijkomend advies.
Profiel
- Idealiter bezit je reeds ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie en behaalde je een relevant diploma
- Hardware-herstellingen uitvoeren deed je dagelijks in je vorige job of ben je mee vertrouwd vanuit jouw persoonlijke interesses
- Je hebt een zeer goede kennis Nederlands
- Je bent klantgericht ingesteld en haalt voldoening uit het oplossen van problemen
- Je kan zelfstandig werken en prioriteiten stellen is voor jou geen probleem
- Je bent bereid om klanten on-site verder te helpen
- Je wil samen met het bedrijf verder groeien
Jobgerelateerde competenties
- Defecte componenten of stukken vervangen of herstellen
- De middelen bepalen die nodig zijn om het probleem op te lossen en de oproep indien nodig bijsturen (onderhoud ter plaatse, gespecialiseerde technicus,...)
- Een opvolgsysteem voor voorraden bijhouden (verbruik van losse stukken,...)
- Het materiaal en de uitrusting schoonmaken en instellen
- De tussenkomsten bepalen op basis van informatie van de helpdesk, de hotline en informatiedossiers
- Informatica-uitrusting demonteren en de onderdelen sorteren met het oog op hergebruik of recyclage
- Onderdelen van informatica
- of bureautica-uitrusting assembleren of integreren
- Een interventie uitvoeren: Ter plaatse of bij klanten
