**Who are we?**

EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities.

Our mission is to accelerate change towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and liveable urban spaces. We connect public and private actors and provide them with access to markets, talent, finance and knowledge.

Using cities as living labs, our industry, research and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.

A key objective of the City Partnerships team is to enable cities, regions and other public authorities to navigate the innovation ecosystem to meet their sustainable mobility goals. Activities can include supporting the development of pilot projects, networking and events, capacity building, and on-the-ground fieldwork and citizen engagement. The City Partnerships team helps to connect cities within the network as well as provides overarching support to the organization to incorporate the voice and needs of public authorities.

**About the Internship**:
The intern would be part of the City Partnerships team and would have the opportunity to work closely at the intersection of cities, urban mobility, citizen engagement and innovation.
- Assist in mapping key city priorities for urban mobility across the EU; develop a database of key challenges and needs; research on specific city policies and programmes.
- Assist in delivering citizen engagement activities and training programmes, including project coordination, outreach, evaluation and communication.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of a central repository of citizen engagement methods.
- Support the coordination and execution of citizen/end-user research to gather insights and feedback for enhancing urban mobility solutions.
- Assist in knowledge sharing with EIT Urban Mobility partners and stakeholders.
- Contribute to broader City Partnerships team activities and assist in the implementation of EIT Urban Mobility’s strategic agenda.

**What you will bring along the way**:
**Must-Haves**:

- Bachelor's degree in economics, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Ability to conduct scientific research (qualitative/quantitative studies, desk research and reporting).
- Strong curiosity.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a C1 level.
- Ability to coordinate/organize events.

**Nice-to-have**:

- Skills in communications, data analysis, graphic design and/or citizen.
- Any other EU languages are a plus.
