ICT speelt hierin een cruciale rol, zowel op vlak van hardware, storage en netwerken, als in ondersteuning en implementatie van de bedrijfsapplicaties.

Met de uitbouw van een moderne infrastructuur en een professionele omkadering worden de uitdagingen aangegaan om een veilige en vlotte werking te garanderen voor de 3.450 medewerkers. Met deze grote projecten in het vooruitzicht zet Jessa maximaal in op de groei van haar ICT-afdeling en zoeken ze collega’s.

**Functie**:
Als Data Management Officer denk je altijd vooruit

Binnen Informatie Management zit je op het kruispunt van data
- en informatiestromen, en help je de organisatie om goede tactische en strategische beslissingen te nemen.
- Je formuleert antwoorden op complexe medische/zorg/administratieve vragen o.b.v. data analyses en datamining technieken. Je zoekt verbanden tussen klinische gegevens en administratieve gegevens om nieuwe inzichten te creëren die leiden tot verbeteracties in de kwaliteit van de zorgverlening en efficiëntere processen.
- Je analyseert en vertaalt de business behoeften in functionele en technische termen.
- Je begeleidt en motiveert het (medische)management bij het opstellen, rapporteren en interpreteren van boordtabellen om hun beleid op te volgen en bij te sturen.
- Je buigt ad-hoc werk in het eigen team en in het ziekenhuis om naar efficiënte en (semi)automatische processen, indien mogelijk.
- Data science is voor jou geen onbekende. Je bent in staat prototypes te maken en ze uit te testen. Daarnaast kan je een proof of concept ontwikkelen om het potentieel en uitdagingen van data science en AI te laten zien.
- Je werkt samen met andere IM stakeholders binnen het Ziekenhuis Netwerk (ZWL) enerzijds en externe initiatieven anderzijds.
- Je laat actief je eigen expertise groeien.

**Profiel**:

- Een masterdiploma of een bachelorsdiploma met relevante ervaring
- Je hebt minstens 4 jaren relevante ervaring in Informatie Management.
- Ervaring in de ziekenhuiswereld (gezondheidszorg) is een pluspunt.
- Bijkomende expertise op vlak van beheer van gezondheidsgegevens, data-analyse en statistiek zijn aangewezen.
- Je hebt een grondige technische kennis van datasystemen en relevante informaticatoepassingen (of een bereidheid om deze te verwerven).
- Je kan de beschikbare data analyseren en weet te voorzien in relevante informatie vanuit de data voor de verschillende diensten in het ziekenhuis. Dit zowel in het kader van de strategische, tactische en operationele werking van het ziekenhuis als op het vlak van wetenschappelijk onderzoek en studies.
- Je bent analytisch, innovatief en een klantgerichte teamspeler.
