Wil je groeien als expert in Pricing Life & Employee Benefits & Health en je creativiteit en zin voor vernieuwing inzetten in pricing(technieken), complexe actuariële berekeningen en in de ontwikkeling van producten en operationele systemen met een focus op pricing en rendabiliteit?

Als actuarieel medewerker binnen het departement Pricing Life, EB en Health ben je mee verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling van de actuariële aspecten binnen de operationele systemen en producten en voor de actuariële ondersteuning van Operations in complexe actuariële berekeningen in specifieke dossiers voor grote klanten.

Je komt terecht in een behulpzaam en collegiaal team waarbij collega’s bereid zijn kennis te delen en elkaar te ondersteunen. Je werkt samen met andere teams binnen Business Development (Business Risk Management, Productmanagement, Go to Market) en met Operations (Client Services, Underwriting, EB-commercieel en andere).

Je taken
- Met je creativiteit en oplossingsgerichtheid ben je mee verantwoordelijk voor de pricing binnen Life & Employee Benefits & Health. Hierbij ligt de focus op de ontwikkeling van de actuariële en financiële aspecten van zowel de producten als van de ontwikkeling van de operationele systemen (opstellen van business requirements, testen, ondersteunende tools,)
- Je houdt naast de actuariële dimensie in je analyses rekening met verschillende invalshoeken zoals financieel, juridisch, operationeel, commercieel en systeemtechnisch en dit met het oog op een klantgerichte en duurzame rendabele oplossing.
- Je volgt ontwikkelingen en trends op in de markt die betrekking hebben op pricing(technieken) en financiële risico’s en speelt hierop in
- Je bouwt ondersteunende (actuariële) berekeningstools zowel in ontwikkeling van de operationele systemen, de pricing, de productontwikkeling als in de ondersteuning van het departement Operations (Client en services en Underwriting) in specifieke complexe actuariële berekeningen voor grote klanten.
- Aanvullend ondersteun je de collega’s in bepaalde risico-analyses, in het opstellen van acceptatierichtlijnen en in het bewaken en bijsturen van de pricing en de rendabiliteit en bekijk je de financiële impact van productontwikkelingen op de rendabiliteit met het oog op optimalisatie van de portefeuilles Life & Employee Benefits & Health.

Je profiel
- Je hebt een Master in de Actuariële wetenschappen, Wiskunde, Fysica, Toegepaste Economische wetenschappen, handelswetenschappen of Statistiek
- Je hebt 3 - 5 jaar ervaring in het domein van de actuariële berekeningen (Levensverzekeringen of groepsverzekeringen of Health) en je hebt kennis van pricingtechnieken (Value New Business, segmentatie,), het interpreteren, analyseren en beheersen van (financiële) risico’s en je hebt basisprincipes van diverse boekhoudkundige normen (meer bepaald BGAAP en Solvency II en IFRS).
- Ervaring met of goede kennis van beleggingsverzekeringen (Tak 23) is een pluspunt
- Je bent leergierig, gedreven en nieuwsgierig in het kader van nieuwe ontwikkelingen
- Je bent bereid om je te verdiepen in niet actuariële domeinen die noodzakelijk zijn om de functie te kunnen uitvoeren zoals juridische aspecten EB (wetgeving, contracten,) en de werking van de actuariële berekeningen van de operationele beheerssystemen
- Je past je gemakkelijk aan aan een nieuwe omgeving en nieuwe ontwikkelingen. Verandering schrikt je niet af en kan je extra energie en creativiteit geven
- Je hebt een goede kennis van Microsoft tools. Kennis van SAS of R is een pluspunt
- Je werkt zelfstandig, pro-actief en je bent gedreven en oplossingsgericht. Je bent ook instaat om complexe situaties duidelijk en begrijpelijk weer te geven.
- Je werkt nauw samen met je collega’s van andere afdelingen en je bouwt je eigen netwerk uit.

- Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en je hebt een basiskennis van het Frans en het Engels
