**De Stichting Kankerregister, gelegen in het hart van Brussel, is een dynamische**
**organisatie, die verantwoordelijk is voor het verzamelen, de kwaliteitscontrole, de**
**verwerking en de analyse van kankerregistratiegegevens.
Om het team van data collection and processing te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar
**Een data manager( junior) (M/V/X)**
**Voorstelling van het Data Collection and Processing team**
Sinds de oprichting in 2005, werden de opdrachten van de Stichting Kankerregister verder
uitgebreid om te komen tot een volledig en kwalitatief netwerk voor de kankerregistratie en
eveneens voor de pathologische onderzoeken in het kader van de vroegtijdige opsporing van
baarmoederhals-, borst
- en dikke darmkanker.
- Binnen de Stichting, houdt het team ‘Data collection & processing’ zich enerzijds bezig met het
- verzamelen van de gegevens van de zorgprogramma’s oncologie binnen de ziekenhuizen en de
- laboratoria voor pathologische anatomie en anderzijds met de verwerking en de kwaliteitscontrole
- van deze gegevens. Verder werkt het samen met andere teams en departementen zoals
- Registratieprojecten en Research ter ondersteuning van diverse projecten binnen het
- Kankerregister.**Functiebeschrijving**
Als data manager bestaat je belangrijkste taak uit de syntactische en semantische
- kwaliteitscontrole van de verzamelde gegevens, de verwerking van deze gegevens en hun
- codering waar nodig. In functie van je competenties en de behoeften binnen de instelling wordt je
- ingezet bij de verwerking van de kankerregistratiegegevens en/of de verwerking van de gegevens
- verzameld in het kader van de vroegtijdige opsporing van baarmoederhals-, borst
- en dikke
- darmkanker.- beheer en verwerking van elektronische bestanden aangeleverd door de verschillende
bronnen, zoals de laboratoria voor pathologische anatomie, de zorgprogramma’s oncologie
van ziekenhuizen en mutualiteiten
- kwaliteitscontrole van de gegevens
- hercoderen, indien nodig, van de gegevens op basis van
de bestaande informatie in pathologierapporten of medische
protocollen volgens erkende classificaties
- meewerken aan het opstellen van feedback rapporten naar de
bronnen over de kwaliteit van hun gegevens
- meewerken aan de technische voorbereiding van rapporten en brochures;
- hulp bij specifieke registratie
- en/of onderzoeksprojecten in het kader van de
kwaliteitscontrole en/of codering van de gegevens
Op langere termijn en na een positieve evolutie is een doorgroei naar een breder takenpakket
mogelijk.
**Profiel
- bij voorkeur een master (bv. biomedische wetenschappen, biologie, bio-ingenieur, ) of
- een bachelordiploma (bv. verpleegkundige, paramedische opleidingen, )- goede kennis van medische terminologie. Kennis van oncologie, hematologie en/of
- anatomie is een pluspunt- specifieke interesse in informatica. Vlot gebruik van courante PC toepassingen,
- voornamelijk Excel (macro’s). Kennis van databanken is een pluspunt.- graag werken met classificatiesystemen.
- goede kennis (lezen en schrijven) van het Nederlands. Goede basiskennis Frans (spreken
- en lezen) en basiskennis Engels- passieve kennis van medische terminologie in het Frans is een pluspunt
- zin voor orde en nauwgezet kunnen werken
- je bent flexibel en staat open voor diverse taken
- positieve attitude, dynamisch en een gezonde dosis assertiviteit
