Eurogentec is an internationally successful biotechnology supplier, based in Belgium (Liège area), that specializes in genomics and proteomics kits and reagents as well as cGMP biologics. The company was founded in 1985 as a spin-off from the University of Liège. Since 2010, the company is part of Kaneka Corporation, a Japanese international company, which has developed a broad technological platform in Asia, Europe and US.
For supporting the digital transformation of Eurogentec, we are hiring a new colleague (M/F/x) for the position of
**Digitalization Project Manager**
within the Corporate Project department. This department addresses company-wide projects and is part of the Technical Support & Services division, together with the Maintenance & Technical Services, IT and EHS departments. The division’s mission is to enable & support safe technical operations everyday across the company, ensuring all our colleagues have the appropriate tools to deliver on their promises

- Lead the digitalization program across all divisions and business units.
- Gather user inputs and business needs to formalize the requirements.
- Explore state of the art technological solutions and build strong internal proposals.
- Seek for similar opportunities across the company to reinforce the business case.
- Present and defend each initiative such as to align with the strategic objectives.
- Identify all stakeholders and build up your virtual project teams (possibly including contractors or consultants, to be managed by yourself).
- Prepare, manage and follow-up the main project drivers (budget, quality, time).
- Coach (junior or external) project managers on subprojects linked to the program.
- Help to build up the corporate project guidelines and processes.
- Directly report to the Head of Technical Support & Services, and occasionally to the Management Committee.
**Your profile**:
- A master's or bachelor’s degree in engineering with extensive knowledge of digital solutions and extensive project experience, preferably in biotechnology, life sciences or related industries.
- Experienced program/project professional with proven track record with PMI or Prince2 standards, and knowledge of digital industry best practices (lean, agile, scrum, etc.) Any relevant certification is welcome.
- Excellent understanding of integrated digital solutions: from process automation to production optimization and from IS infrastructure to business intelligence.
- An inspiring leader who leads his/her (virtual) teams with passion and empathy.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in French and English and able to flexibly adapt his/her communication to a less technical audience.
- Passion for following industrial trends and digital developments.
- Knowledge of cGMP best practices is a plus.
