We are looking for a freshly graduated EU trade lawyer with a strong academic background and an excellent command of English to join the IC&T team in our Brussels office.
**The Team**
Our International Commercial & Trade (IC&T) team is a global market leader in the commercial and trade sphere. The team helps businesses manage the lifecycle of their products and services by addressing legal and regulatory issues in each phase of the supply chain, from structuring, design, procurement and manufacturing through to cross-border trade, ending with advertising and sales and after-sales issues in the local markets.
The Belgian IC&T team is renowned inter alia for its expertise in advising on all aspects of EU trade law, such as trade remedies, customs, free trade agreements, WTO rules, and trade controls. The team often works on pan-European and global projects, assisting clients navigate trade rules around the world in a coordinated manner. The team not only advises and negotiates, but also litigates disputes before administrative authorities and EU and national courts.
**Key Skills and Experience Required**
- A master's degree in law with a solid background in EU law
- An additional LL.M in EU law or trade law is an asset
- Bar qualified, or a clear path to bar qualification, in an EU Member State
- A demonstrable interest in EU trade and dispute resolution
- Excellent command of English. Conversational Dutch or French is an asset
- Highest quality work standards

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well both in a team and individually
