Nadenken over hoe we omgaan met energie is hierin cruciaal. De divisie Energy and Environment binnen Sweco werkt in de hele energieketen en zoekt naar het evenwicht tussen “rationeel” energiegebruik en de inzet van duurzame technieken en hernieuwbare energiebronnen. We hebben expertise inzake zonne-energie, windenergie, waterkracht, energie uit biomassa, warmtenetten, aanleg van transportleidingen en hoogspanningskabels en -substations. We richten ons op een zo efficiënt mogelijke productie, distributie en verbruik van energie. Onze teams wegen de technische en economische haalbaarheid van energieconcepten af en werken dit verder uit tot realiseerbare projecten. Het resultaat is een betrouwbare, rendabele en duurzame energievoorziening. Digitalisatie staat hierin centraal om de klimaattransitie op te schalen en te versnellen. Onze focus ligt op projecten waar we gaan voor een maximale reductie en beheersing van de milieu-impact.

Functieomschrijving:
Je werkt binnen een projectteam mee aan de opmaak van vergunningsaanvragen en/of milieueffectrapporten, in het bijzonder de coördinatie, en je zal worden ingeschakeld in het team van vergunnings
- en MER-deskundigen in ons kantoor te Gent, Berchem, Leuven of Hasselt. Het betreft projecten in het kader van hernieuwbare energie (wind, zon, opslag, laadinfra), maar parallel optioneel ook industriële en technische installaties die verband houden met energie gerelateerde projecten. Je coördineert de vergunningsaanvragen en/of de milieueffectenrapporten zelfstandig of in teamverband. Je neemt de projectleiding van een vergunning en/of MER op, bewaakt de voortgang en het budget en voert het overleg met de klant, de stakeholders en adviserende instanties.

Daarnaast werk je vanuit je deskundigheid in multidisciplinaire teams aan uitdagende en geïntegreerde projecten rond energie en duurzaamheid. Verschillende energie gerelateerde thema’s zoals klimaat, duurzaam productgebruik, rationeel watergebruik, energie-efficiënte maatregelenworden door jou op een geïntegreerde manier aangepakt en gecoördineerd.

Wie zoeken we:

- Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring met vergunningsaanvragen en/of MER-studies, hetzij als milieu, dan wel stedenbouwkundig expert.
- Je beschikt over een relevant masterdiploma.
- Je rapporteert gestructureerd en helder.
- Je kan zelfstandig werken maar bent vooral een teamspeler.
- Erkenning als MER-deskundige is een pluspunt.
- De kans om aan grote en complexe projecten mee te werken
