This is a unique opportunity to discover Fund Management and the environment of Financial Markets. As a Data Analyst and Process Automation Intern, you will be an integral part of the team and you will gain a wide range of practical experience.
The Fund Management departement of Bank Degroof Petercam is looking for an intern to start **as soon as possible** for a period of **3-12 months.**
**Your Position**:
As a Data Analyst and Process Automation intern, you will join a team of Fund Managers in charge of several multi-assets funds totaling over €12bn in AUM.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing tools for performing data analysis and generating reports;
- Constructing automated data pipelines and developing automated process solutions for various office tasks;
- Reporting to the Head of Bank Degroof Petercam Fund Management by participating to the team meetings with discussions on portfolio construction, generation of investment ideas, and the investment strategy;
- Interacting with investement analysts, fund managers and Private Bankers.
**Your Profile**:
- You are currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business and Software Engineering;
- You are fluent in English and have an excellent command of French and/or Dutch;
- You have excellent knowledge and use in Data Analytics with programing skills on Python, Excel/VBA and PowerBI;
- You are proficient in MS Office;
- You are interested in Financial Markets with a good understanding of Financial Economics & Global Macro;
- You have a good knowledge of different Financial Instruments (Equities, fixed income, derivatives, currencies);
- You are detail-oriented and have strong analytical skills;
- You are able to work independently;
- Team spirit is in your DNA, and you like to work in a challenging environment with a dynamic team.
