**IT Business Analyst
- Finance**
**Carrefour Belgium is looking forward to hiring an “IT Business Analyst - Finance” with relevant knowledge of and experience in the domains of SAP ERP, Finance and Retail.**
**Our new colleague will mainly focus on projects and support in conjunction with internal staff and external suppliers.**
**The tasks and responsibilities of an IT Business Analyst - Finance are among others the following ones**:
- Requirements definition and analysis: collect and research specific client requirements for projects, identify requirements, gather workflow data and basic system and reporting specifications.
- **Project planning and execution: participate in the project management process, including participating in project meetings. Document issues, action items, user requirements, or deliverables from project meetings.**
- **Perform a variety of project related activities, including analysis or preparation of documentation and presentations.**
- **Accomplish all work according to established methodologies and standards.**
- **Monitor production batch and ad hoc jobs as required to ensure proper functioning and completion of business operations.**
- **Research and resolve technical and functional issues according to defined prioritization / severity schemes.**
- **Business and Process Improvement: identify opportunities for business or process improvement, make associated recommendations as appropriate as possible.**
- **Work on change requests with the partners.**
- **You will be involved in SAP implementation projects: GAP analysis, developments, adjustments, testing, training, user acceptance, go-live.**
- **Documentation of the business processes.**
**Your Profile**
- **You hold a relevant degree in finance, economics or science, with IT as an option.**
- **You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.**
- **Knowledge & experience of SAP Finance & Controlling. SAP SD/MM knowledge & experience is a plus.**
- **Understanding of best practices, trends and technologies within the area of Finance.**
- **You have an eye for detail. (Retail = detail.)**
- **You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and you are able to effectively prioritize and carry out tasks in a very dynamic environment.**
- **You are customer oriented, with excellent communication skills, capable to defend your ideas, but open to listen to others as well.**
- **You’re fluent in Dutch and English or in French and English.**
- **You’re flexible to deal with (occasional) incidents outside of office hours.**
- **You’re eager to learn and you have a huge appetite for innovative technologies and changing trends in the market.**
- **You have a positive and accountable mindset.**
- **You value the true meaning of team objectives.**
