Description
We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist for our EMEA payrolls. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the payroll is accurate and on time, as well as assisting with other payroll related projects as necessary.
**What you will be doing**:
As EMEA Payroll Specialist, you will report to the Manager Payroll EMEA, and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for all operative payroll tasks for the EMEA payroll
- Ensuring new starters and leavers are processed correctly for inclusion in payroll
- Ensuring all new starters are processed correctly for enrolment into the pension scheme
- Recording absence including sickness and maternity leave and maintaining accurate records
- Recording and reporting holiday information accurately
- Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information
- Processing information relating to statutory payments
- Ensuring that any deductions or overtime are calculated correctly
- Providing support to the line manager for end of tax year tasks
- Supporting employee benefit schemes
- Contributing to a positive relationship with the outsourcing payroll provider
- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
- Maintaining employee confidence always and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Payroll qualification
- Payroll experience with demonstrated increased responsibility
- HR Oracle knowledge would be a plus but is not mandatory
- Hands-on payroll experience and interest in keeping up with current developments
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Process oriented and able to maintain accuracy of data in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent English and Germany language skills, knowledge of any other Europe language would be plus
- Good IT skills, with systems knowledge.
- Strong communications skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good team-playing skills but capable of working independently
- Clear and logical thinking
- Good organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines
- A respect for confidentiality
- Data Protection awareness
