Part of an upscale international brand, this brand new hotel is located on the outskirts of Brussels. The hotel has an impressive design and modern look-and-feel. In addition to general hotel facilities, this location offers a unique experience for hotel guests.
The hotel is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology which is reflected in both the rooms and the rest of the hotel.
The hotel already has good occupancy, currently mainly with business guests. In terms of F&B, this hotel also has something to offer every guest, including a spacious restaurant with terrace, a trendy bar and on the 12th floor there is a gourmet restaurant with stunning views. There is a wide range of unique multipurpose rooms and an auditorium.
You will be joining a strong European hotel management group. There is a lot of focus on personal development within this company and the group offers interesting development and advancement opportunities.
**Duties**:
As the F&B Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing and coordinating all aspects within the hotel.
Within this position, you will be in a key position to put the F&B department in this new hotel on the map.
Your duties will be in the following areas:
- operationally oversee the daily F&B activities
- structure, develop and implement procedures
- coaching, training and development of the F&B team
- other personnel management such as planning, scheduling and communication with interim partners
- initiating and monitoring an efficient purchasing policy, stock management and orders
- monitoring budgets, forecasts and results, as well as taking initiatives to improve results
- following up on guest reviews and feedback and striving for the best service every day
**Profile**:
We are looking for a **solid **management profile. Someone with **experience** in the hotel industry and knowledge of the** F&B department.**
- Excellent communication skills, a people manager, yet someone who will not be walked over
- Independent person with a vision and a great sense of responsibility
- Creative mind with lots of ideas and a hands-on mentality
- Leadership experience in managing different teams and levels
- Hospitality minded, approachable and proactive attitude
Flexibility, a real chameleon in many areas
Speaks English and preferably also Dutch and/or French
