**Job**:

- The Reference is part op EPAM. As a People Operations Specialist you will work in **an international EPAM People Operations team**, but you will be locally **located in Ghent, Belgium**. You will also be the point of contact for all employees and managers there.
- Focus on various **soft HR** topics, including onboarding, offboarding, wellbeing, and learning & development. You will also support the team with **hard HR** tasks when needed.
- Cultivate a positive relationship with all staff members, **fostering active engagement** across the board.
- Assist new joiners, providing crucial support and counselling to **facilitate smooth integration** into the team.
- **Collaborate with various departments** including global mobility, talent & acquisition, office management and IT to streamline people management and enhance employee experiences.
- Take responsibility for creating and updating regular and **ad-hoc HR reports and presentations**.
- Assist in the **planning and implementation of events**, while also spearheading employer branding, wellness, ESG and CSR initiatives.
- Participate in **merger & acquisition projects**, ensuring seamless post-merger integrations.
- Seek opportunities to **improve processes** and proactively **find solutions** during challenges to maintain operational efficiency.

**Profile**:

- **Bachelor or master’s degree** in human resources with 2-3 years of HR experience in the technology sector or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of employment rules, regulations and **Labor law**.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Demonstrated **passion for people's development** and happiness and a proven track record in fostering positive team environments.
- **Proactive and positive mindset**, with the capability to work independently.
- Resilient and agile, with the ability to adapt to a **dynamic environment** and manage pressure efficiently.
- Excellent **problem-solving skills**, with a focus on providing effective solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse, **international teams** and build enduring relationships.
- A strong commitment to **continuous learning**, improvement and adapting best practices.
- A consultative approach, highlighting the ability to engage people and focus on **solution-oriented approaches**.
- You are fluent in **Dutch and English**. **French** would also be an additional advantage.
