For one of our clients, Hays is looking for a **Financial Controller** in Ghent:
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial management reports
- Build a deep understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, and KPIs
- Prepare annual budgets for different business units
- Control and optimize operational costs and calculate compensation plans
- Act as a key user of financial reporting tools and develop KPI reports and dashboards
- Provide ad hoc finance and accounting support, including coordination of annual financial statements and tax returns, preparation of consolidated financial statements, and assistance during financial audits
- Support financial integration of acquisitions and M&A due diligence
What we're looking for:
- ** Master's degree **in Business Economics/Administration or Finance
- 2-5 years of experience in controlling or auditing (experience in Big4 is an asset)
- Excellent knowledge of **Excel**:
- Analytical, accurate, hands-on, and proactive mindset
- Fluent in **Dutch **and **English**, with a good knowledge of French
