R&D Technician

- We’re looking for an R&D Technician for Materialise Manufacturing. As an R&D Technician, you will collaborate closely with process engineering, production, management, and other internal departments regarding testing and quality of data. In addition, you will be responsible for the reliable and sound management of our laboratory.What you will do- Quality control of incoming materials and printed parts using visual control and measurement tests (color, surface quality, tensile tests, density, etc.)
- Input the obtained quality data into our quality database
- Perform all tests with an analytical mindset and perform a first evaluation of the data and alert any abnormalities
- Be responsible for sound housekeeping of our laboratory. This includes, but is not limited to, communicating the procedures regarding reserving and using the laboratory, inventory management, and safety (ensuring chemicals are stored correctly) to different stakeholders.

- You are a hands-on person
- You can work independently
- You are organized and analytical
- Knowledge of English and/or Dutch is required
- Interest and know-how in processing/testing of polymers is an asset
