**The Scrum Master is representative of the 'new' culture and should display the following competencies**:

- Highly motivated self-starter, comfortable offering guidance and leadership, both individually and at team/squad levels
- A great teammate, who is comfortable getting his or her hands dirty to help the Squad deliver it's goals e.g. by removing impediments
- Brings passion to his or her work to inspire and motivate team members
- Passionate about Agile principles and excited to embed them across the organisation
- Loves coaching and supporting people to embrace changes to their way of working
- Calm, confident and open-minded - A continuous improvement mindset and dedication to finding new ways of working

**In addition, the below knowledge and experience are required**:

- Business knowledge
- Experience of driving change initiatives (large or small)
- Passion for helping teams and individuals to deliver and personally grow
- Drive to embrace new ways of working and mindset
- The ability to self-learn and respond positively to feedback and coaching
- Attitude which puts the needs of the entire team before that of the individual and helping others perform to the best of their abilities (Servant Leadership)
- Strong organizational skills
- Teaching and coaching ability
- Conflict facilitation skills

**As a Scrum Master in Cloud Infrastructure**:
You will be placed in a flow-team that is filled with Technical people, who have affinity with Cloud, Infrastructure, Programming, Developping, Data,

While it is not necessary to have knowledge of these technologies, it might help your day to day job, to have some basic knowledge of what people are talking about.

This way you can better understand their struggles and their needs in guiding them through the way of working.

Besides a flow-team you will also be part of a Scrum Master & Talent Lead team, where we discuss best practices and where you get guidance on the next steps.

**Knowledge & experience**:

- You have the ability to brainstorm with team members on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks
- You have proven experience influencing behaviour cross-team and cross-discipline without having formal organizational hierarchy
- You have experience with transforming waterfall to flow systems
- You are familiar with Cloud Infrastructure as Technology
