**Medical Science Liaison.**
In this interesting and stimulating role you will be a medical and scientific expert within your dedicated therapeutic area, and you will support the launch of new indications
Furthermore, you will act within the boundaries of local rules and regulations as a liaison between Clinical and Scientific External Experts (EEs) and Boehringer Ingelheim to stimulate scientific exchange with these EEs and provide critical insights towards us. Besides, you will work in permanent collaboration and alignment with the Medical Manager(s) in charge of the same therapeutic area(s) (TA), as your jobs are complementary and interdependent.

**Further key responsibilities**:
**_External Expert scientific resource: to meet the needs of EEs for in-depth scientific knowledge and understanding of product, indication and broader therapeutic area through interaction with this group:_**- Provide the EE / HCP’s or other external customers with highly significant clinical and/or safety information concerning the appropriate use of BI drugs-
- Respond to complex scientific / medical field-based information queries from HCP’S, EE, medical / scientific committees and attend international/ national medical congresses to staff scientific booths and discuss science.**Generate and communicate scientific data**:To support the research and/or clinical interests of EEs and help to exchange on high quality scientific data:
- Phase 2 - 4 clinical trials: help to identify qualified sites or investigators; exchange on results of these trials to the national audience according to local regulations-
- Support Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS), registries, epidemiological studies, RWE, non-trial activities and other medical / scientific projects.**Internal Medical Teams, Field force, KAMs, Marketing and Market access teams’ support**:
- Provide scientific / medical information gathered when discussing with the EE / HCP’s to internal teams when useful to influence strategic decision making and planning for compounds in development or products on the market**What you should bring to the team**:
- Passionate professional with a
- **master’s degree** (PhD is a plus) in Medicine, Pharmacology, or related life science-
- Experience in the Cardio-Metabolism therapeutic area is an asset-
- Scientific aptitude: formal education and experience in a scientific or clinical discipline that enables the MSL to be a scientifically credible peer to EE/HCPs-
**Excellent command of the English language**You are fluent in French and/or Dutch**- Outstanding presentation and communication skills to share scientific content and context to multiple audiences-
- Curious attitude, open to digital transformation, patient, and customer orientation-
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team player-
