**Working in the Business & Finance team**:
The Business Controller Officer in the Business & Finance team oversees the business control governance framework and is responsible for reliable reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation analyses. This role proactively supports business decision-making within their domain and optimizes the allocation of financial resources to achieve Wyre's objectives.

**Your role as a Business Controlling Officer**:

- Prepare, create, and validate cross-department (economic, revenue, expenditure, project, business) analyses to formulate advice that maximizes/optimizes activities and processes in support of business decision-making.
- Monitor and support the efficient use of all budgeted financial resources. Determine where resources should be deployed and allocated to achieve the highest possible return and process optimization in line with strategic pillars and KPIs. Additionally, follow up to ensure resources are used correctly.
- Create and monitor budgets, forecasts, and/or actuals, which are challenging yet achievable, in close collaboration with business/Financial Controllers, and convey this information in a timely manner. Safeguard financial and strategic target settings.
- Identify potential opportunities and risks through analysis and advise all stakeholders accordingly. Play an active role in various improvement initiatives/projects.
- Support, set up, and monitor financial governance/processes. Develop and track KPIs in line with strategic pillars at various levels. Act as a business control point of contact to ensure financial aspects and standards are maintained, and/or communicate/question/justify decisions to internal and external stakeholders (including authorities). Translate strategic partnerships into the internal operations of the domain.

**Our ideal Business Controller**:

- You obtained a Master’s degree with a financial background.
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in business controlling/management consulting/investment banking, with demonstrable experience in financial-strategic reporting.
- You are accurate with numbers, possess strong analytical and synthetic skills, and are proficient in business modeling and scenario planning.
- You have strong communication skills and are a true team player with a hands-on attitude.
- You are flexible in a rapidly changing business environment but do not shy away from more routine tasks.
- Experience in the telecommunications sector is a plus.
- You have strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and have an affinity for financial systems (accounting, reporting). You have a good command of Dutch and English.**What we offer**:
