mci group Belgium looking to hire a **Media & Communication Manager** to join its fast-growing international team in order to fulfil the following tasks and responsibilities:
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Digital communication and media relations
- Lead the design and implementation of a 360° communication strategies across all channels and platforms;
- Design and manage the media presence and PR strategy to boost the profile of clients or events (e.g. positioning or awareness-raising);
- Draft press releases and other news items to boost the external visibility of clients and events;
- Design and manage the implementation of digital/social media activities (namely Twitter and LinkedIn);
- Draft communication materials in line with our clients’ vision, public affairs objectives, political asks.
Messaging and marketing
- Design and implement annual communication and event plans (e.g. create branded activities for clients; identify event speaking opportunities in panel sessions or roundtables; organise physical presence and branding at trials, demos or trade shows);
- Define _pre_, _during_ and _post_ event messaging and outreach to target audiences;
- Lead the organisation of various policy events for our clients;
- Drive the creative concept and production of marketing collaterals and communication assets (e.g. infographics, animated videos; gifs or graphs);
- Design and manage the editorial approach for websites, reports, newsletters;
- Coordinate the requests sent to 3rd party providers and ensure timely delivery of their work.
- You have hands-on experience in media relations, communication, digital and social media advocacy including engagement with relevant communities (e.g. journalists, social media influencers); media and social media publishing or monitoring tools, website creation and content management;
- You have minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position as Manager
- Ideally but not a must, you have previous experience in events organisation or events management.
- You possess strong project management skills: time management, process oriented, attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines, understanding client requests and supplier needs; managing budget and resources;
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and understanding of the factors involved in client decision-making processes for consultancy services;
- You are able to visually conceptualise technical or complex content;
- You are fluent in written and spoken English (native speaker or equivalent); command of another European language is a must.
- You are available to join the team at short notice
- You are eligible to work in the EU.
**Education**
- Master’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communication or other related fields.
