We are itsme, one of Europe’s fastest-growing scale-ups, counting 75 team members and growing. Our mission: providing a state-of-the-art digital identity solution to all people, enabling them to interact securely in the digital space. Now, only five years after being founded, close to 7 million citizens use the itsme app, to identify themselves and sign documents online. Starting in Belgium, we successfully launched in The Netherlands and Luxembourg, with the ambition to become an internationally leading player.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Leader to drive commercial success in Belgium. This role involves managing a high-performing team of four sales and account management professionals, creating a market strategy, and positioning itsme as a leader in digital identity solutions. You will be responsible for both new customer acquisition and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, while also helping bring product innovations to market. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance the customer experience and raise service standards.
What your job looks like
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of four sales and account management professionals, fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with company objectives.
- Market Strategy Development: Design and execute a comprehensive market plan for Belgium, identifying new growth opportunities and further establishing itsme in the region.
- New Sales and Account Management: Drive the team's efforts in acquiring new clients, as well as managing relationships with existing customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
- Product Innovation Support: Collaborate with product and innovation teams to introduce new solutions tailored to the Belgian market, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, customer success, and other teams to improve the end-to-end customer journey and ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Revenue Growth: Take ownership of sales targets, forecast performance, and provide accurate reporting on progress, making data-driven decisions to optimize sales outcomes.
- Client Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry influencers, positioning itsme as a trusted partner in the digital identity space.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven Experience: 10+ years of experience in Head of Sales roles, with a successful track record of achieving targets and driving growth in the B2B tech space (experience in identity, cybersecurity, or digital transformation is a plus).
- Market Expertise: In-depth understanding of the Dutch market, with established networks and a passion for helping businesses adopt digital identity solutions.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, foster collaboration, and inspire others towards achieving common goals.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically, while also executing tactically to drive results and achieve revenue goals.
- Excellent Communication: Fluent in Dutch and English, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions to C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to evolving business priorities.
