Communication and Marketing Manager

This role leads the organisation's marketing strategy, team, and budget to strengthen visibility, partnerships, and impact. The Marketing responsible oversees content creation, press and partner relations, and the development of effective campaigns across all channels. our client is a well known organisation, long‑standing, non‑profit advocacy group dedicated to its core mission at heart. They work to raise public awareness, influence policy, and drive meaningful change for the welfare and rights. In order to sustain they growth, they are actively looking for an impactful Marketing Manager with a willingness to remain operational and have a strong impact on the long term organisation. As the successful Marketing & Communication Manager - NGO - you will have the following responsibilities: Promote and uphold the organisation's vision Organise and coordinate the communication team's activities, ensuring team members are well trained, motivated, and aligned with objectives Supervise and manage marketing & Communications tools and platforms Develop and maintain external relations with partners Define, plan, and implement an effective marcom strategy Manage press relations and external communication partners Mobilise key marketing & communication stakeholders Create content and oversee the production and distribution of materials across various channels (website, magazine, social media, newsletters, advertising campaigns, etc.) Manage the marketing budget Develop partnerships Monitor marketing and digital trends Present regular updates on actions undertaken Produce monthly reporting and performance analysis for the marketing department As the successful Marketing & Communication Manager, you have the following requirements: At least Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or equivalent experience At least 5 to 10 years of professional experience Passionate about marketing, digital environments, and new technologies Able to manage projects, budgets, and teams (leadership and teamwork skills) Strong command of office tools and digital marketing tools (Adobe Suite, video editing software, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, etc.), web analytics, and marketing techniques Knowledge of various marketing channels (social media, press relations, advertising, etc.) and how to use them effectively depending on the target audience Excellent writing skills Knowledge of CMS platforms such as Drupal or WordPress Fluent in Dutch & French, with good command of English Strong analytical skills (ability to collect and i...
