For a client we are seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive information security program. This strategic role involves ensuring the protection of the organization's information assets, compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigation of security risks.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute an information security strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
- Lead efforts related to the potential implementation and compliance with the NIS2 directive.
- Manage and enhance cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to mitigate threats.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual security requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to promote security awareness and best practices.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of the information security program.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a CISO or senior information security role.
- In-depth knowledge of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Familiarity with the NIS2 directive and experience in its implementation (highly desirable).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
