About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a cutting-edge company that is pushing the boundaries of mmWave technology. As a Senior RF/mmWave ASIC designer, you will play a key role in strengthening and complementing our existing team of designers.

Responsibilities

  • Spec definition and system-level design of RF/mmWave modules and components
  • Circuit design, layout, and verification of RF/mmWave building blocks
  • 2D and 3D EM simulations for interconnect, passives, and packages
  • Assist in measurement preparations
  • Clear and concise reporting and interaction with customers
  • Come up with creative solutions to new problems

Requirements

  • BSc (Hons) or higher degree in electrical engineering with a focus on analog, RF, and mmWave ASIC design
  • 5+ years of transistor-level RF/mmWave IC design experience in advanced CMOS, SOI, and/or SiGe
  • Experience with design for production (PVT variation, electromigration, aging, DFM) and full design cycle: specs to measured silicon
  • Knowledge and experience with leading IC design tools: Cadence, ADS, Synopsys, or Mentor
  • Experience in transistor-level layout extraction and verification (PEX), DRC, and LVS
  • Electromagnetic modeling of high-frequency circuits and relevant EDA tools
  • Extensive lab experience
  • Proficient in a scientific scripting or programming language (e.g., Matlab, Python)
  • Eager to learn and willing to adopt new tools and design techniques
  • Clear communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
