- Guide one or multiple squads, ensuring technical solutions align with strategic business objectives.
- Define best practices for code quality, technical debt reduction, and software architecture.
- Support teams in refining high-level architecture and designing scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Solution Design & Innovation
- Provide high-level technical designs and ensure they are properly implemented.
- Maintain deep technical knowledge in relevant domains and share expertise with development teams.
- Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies and aligning them with business needs.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a key point of contact between development teams and business stakeholders.
- Translate technical complexities into business language for senior management.
- Influence decision-making processes to improve software development life cycle efficiency.
- Quality & Best Practices
- Advocate for software development best practices, ensuring consistency across teams.
- Drive automation, reuse, and cost-effective development strategies.
- Establish and promote guidelines for secure and high-performing software solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong development background with at least 8 years of experience, including 3+ years in a senior development role.
- Proven expertise in software architecture, CI/CD, cloud technologies, or a relevant technical stack.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software delivery and ability to optimize processes.
- Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience handling complex technical challenges.
- Experience in design thinking and technical roadmap planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, or development frameworks).
- Multilingual communication skills (English, Dutch, and/or French preferred).
