Purpose and Scope
The Chief Policy Officer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of policy advocacy strategies to advance Dober Partners' interests in Brussels. This role requires a strong understanding of EU affairs, policy analysis, and advocacy, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective policy advocacy strategies to advance our agenda
- Monitor and analyze EU and international policy developments related to data protection, consumer/business credit assessment, access to data and data management, and retail financial services
- Collaborate with our members, experts, and stakeholders to gather input and find consensus on position papers/responses to public consultations
- Draft clear, compelling and evidence-based position papers that articulate our views and recommendations on relevant policy issues
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years demonstrated experience in EU affairs (policy analysis, advocacy, and negotiation) and financial services legislation
- Bachelor's degree in science, EU affairs, or relevant subject
- Business acumen
- Strong analytical and research abilities
