About Our Organization
Magnusenergy is a leading provider of energy sector consulting services, dedicated to helping our clients navigate the complex and rapidly changing energy landscape.
Your Role:
- As a Principal Consultant European Energy Markets, you will lead the delivery of high-quality analysis and strategic recommendations to clients across Europe.
- You will train and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and experience to ensure their success.
- Promote structure and knowledge within the new Belgian hub, accelerating the energy transition.
About You:
- MSc or PhD in Energy Economics, Finance or a related field.
- A deep understanding of electricity markets, including long-term, day-ahead, intraday, balancing markets, and capacity markets.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, such as EMDR, CACM Guideline, FCA Guideline, and EBGL, as well as financial regulation.
- At least 10 years of experience in (economic) electricity market analysis, with a proven track record of creating leads and taking ownership of complete assignments.
- An extensive network within the European energy landscape, including TSOs, DSOs, market operators, traders, and flexibility providers.
