We are ThoughtBot, a company that values innovation and expertise. As we continue to grow, we need a skilled professional to lead our mobile applications development.
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a highly experienced fullstack developer with strong expertise in React Native and NodeJS. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable mobile applications using React Native, as well as developing efficient backend solutions using NodeJS.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Frontend: Strong expertise in React Native with styled-components is required. Experience with React.js is strongly appreciated. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript is also necessary. Familiarity with React Native best practices and micro-frontend architecture is key.
- Backend: Key experience in NodeJS in TypeScript is required. Experience with modern ORMs (e.g., TypeORM) and RESTful API design (OpenAPI/Swagger) is also essential.
**Bonus Points:**
- Native mobile development experience (Android/iOS)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Experience with react-navigation & app performance optimization
- Experience integrating native modules in React Native apps
