About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our team at Arcus Search. The CISO will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the company's information security strategy, ensuring that our systems, data, and digital assets are protected from internal and external threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Information Security Strategy: Create a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with the organization's business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage cybersecurity risks to the company's digital and physical assets.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable national and international cybersecurity regulations, including GDPR and NIS2 Directive.
- Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans.
- Security Architecture: Define and enforce security policies, frameworks, and architecture standards.
- Leadership: Build and lead a skilled information security team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership, legal, compliance, and IT teams.
- Vendor Management: Manage third-party risk assessments.
- Threat Intelligence: Oversee continuous monitoring of the company's networks and systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: At least 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years as a CISO or in a senior leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication skills.
