\As a Hardware Qualification Engineer, you will contribute to our mission by:
\- Supporting utilities in identifying obsolete components, ensuring the reliability of their equipment.
- Managing contacts with suppliers to evaluate alternative solutions, streamlining procurement processes.
- Looking for substitute products for equipment, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
- Validating design changes between original and current equipment with regard to nuclear safety, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Drafting specifications and technical application files for installation equipment, facilitating smooth project execution.
- Managing the qualification process for instrumentation equipment in the field of nuclear safety, guaranteeing the highest level of quality.
- Writing and analysing qualification reports, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
- Carrying out technical audits of suppliers, verifying their competence and adherence to industry regulations.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
\- A bachelor's/master's degree in Civil/Industrial Engineering, specialising in electricity, electronics, electromechanics, or a related field.
- Experience in the safety sector, particularly in nuclear, industry, railways, or aeronautics.
- Knowledge of the components composing systems and how they operate, allowing you to make informed decisions.
- The ability to write technical documents, effectively communicating complex information to various audiences.
- Fluency in English, enabling seamless collaboration with international teams.
- Knowledge in electricity and/or instrumentation, quality assurance, standards, is highly desirable, but not essential.
