We are seeking a skilled Commercial Strategy Lead to drive business growth at Octave, a Belgian cleantech company specializing in battery energy storage and energy management services for businesses.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the company's commercial strategy and contribute to the energy transition.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- You will help Octave's commercial strategy grow by building relationships with potential partners and identifying new sales channels.
- You will refine Octave's go-to-market strategy, ensuring it stays ahead of the competition.
- You will participate in industry events and trade fairs to stay informed about the latest innovations and provide input to the product team on market requirements.
- You will maintain a strong relationship with Octave's potential partners through excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
- Solid work experience in commercial/project development in the energy sector (B2B), preferably in energy storage solutions or renewable energy sources.
- A good understanding of energy markets and sufficient technical background to grasp basic electrical engineering concepts around renewable energy.
- A clear hunter sales attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to give engaging presentations.
- Experience in developing and implementing a commercial strategy in the renewable energy sector and performing market segmentation.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment with fluency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and similar tools.
