ROLE
Are you ready to lead the work for one of our loved and established clients? Do you want to manage a truly wonderful and enthusiastic Account team of Account Managers and Executives? Are you Dutch native and fluent in English with a good understanding of French? Do you enjoy getting the best out of the creative and strategic departments? Are you experienced in social content, but also know how to manage ATL and activation campaigns?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Is ultimately responsible for the smooth running of the account - operationally, creatively, financially – and is accountable to these points to both the client and Business Director.
- As the senior point of contact for an agency’s customers, the Account Director also co-ordinates the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans and balances the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work.
- Builds strong and enduring relationships with clients and understands the clients’ business and the key broader factors and trends shaping their markets and categories.
- Brings creative work to the next level and explores extra revenue streams within the social media remit.
- In tandem with the strategic department, develops insightful strategies and sharp creative briefs.
- Is the creative department’s most senior contact on a day-to-day basis thanks to a full awareness of creative processes and techniques.
- Creates the best possible environment in which to produce the best possible work.
- Delegates effectively and appropriately.
- Builds the respect, loyal commitment, and performance of team members.
- Has a keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints.
- This is an office-based role, requiring time in meetings and briefings, as well as close contact with key clients based in Brussels and different European markets.
PROFILE
- 8+ years’ experience - deep expertise in digital campaigns, including activations, broad experience in ATL.
- Experience with international clients is a plus.
- Proficient in Dutch & English with a good understanding of French.
- Comfortable in growing senior client relationships and business.
- Skillful project management – expert in scoping and delivering projects on time and on budget.
- Proven experience in managing team members.
- Enthusiastic team-player, curious and keen to grow & learn.
- Have a ‘borderless’ mindset – working with colleagues based in Brussels and other European markets.
