Job description What if your market insight unlocked new supplier opportunities and innovations?  As an Expert Lead Buyer Subcontracting Category Management you ensure that the category of Subcontracting is managed from both a transversal and business unit perspective, by defining and implementing a proper category strategy, in alignment with business needs of Equans BeLux.You build, maintain and improve relations and contractual conditions with subcontractors, translate business needs into a category strategy, ensure synchronization with Group policies and strategic direction.You also provide support related to Subcontracting projects, to ensure the right quality, in alignment with the business and procurement targets, while mitigating the risks, respecting the Group HSE, ethical and CSR principles.Your work location: Brussels. Zoom on the job:mission, strategy & objectives setting: contribute to the operationalization and implementation of the mission, strategy and objectives setting of Procurement BeLuxcategory & contract management: build & develop a category plan Subcontracting, containing the strategical and tactical direction for Subcontracting within Equans BeLuxunderstand and know the subcontracting market (industry, suppliers, contractors, innovations,…) and the internal needs (specifications, etc.) in order to translate the organizational needs in the most adequate strategy and Framework Agreementsmaintain relations with business, to ensure alignment and collaborationmanage a portfolio of Framework Agreements with Subcontractingmanage extensions, re-negotiations for the portfolio of Framework Agreements to ensure agreements are kept up to date throughout the life cycle of the agreementperform supplier relationship management for subcontractors under Framework Agreementidentification of new potential (additional savings, reducing risks, efficient process) via the contracting of non-contracted key suppliers within appointed purchasing categoriescommunication of Framework Agreements to internal business (end users) via the appropriate channelsact as moderator in discussions between internal clients and subcontractorscollaborate with other Procurement teams to ensure category & contract management is executed in line with procurement governancepolicies, processes, governance & organisation: apply the proper procurement policies and processes in order to achieve the goals set for the organizationcommunicate and apply Group and Equans BeLux procurement governance throughout the organization and towards internal and external stakeholdersmethodology & tools: apply procurement methodology and use procurement tools (supported by Procurement Excellence)marketing: support to increase the visibility of the procurement activity and organization (internal and external)targets & savings: work towards, follow-up and report on procurement savings targets in your scopeensure that the savings are reported according to the required guidelinescontribute to delivery of business and procurement targets Profile Are we a match?you have a master’s degree or equivalent by relevant experienceyou have 5 to 10 years of professional experienceexperience with subcontracting is a mustyou have very good communication and influencing skillsyou have expert procurement skills and knowledge: negotiation, contracting, financial and cost management, contracts and purchase lawyou have a good knowledge (verbal and written) of Dutch, French and English Offer Want to tackle tomorrow’s multi-technical challenges with us?At Equans, you find an exciting career within a stable and financially sound company.
