And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come. /ph3We are looking for: /h3pThis role offers the opportunity to become a genuine business partner, working on strategic international transactions while developing the skills and experience to lead deals independently. /ppReporting directly to the Head of MA Legal, you'll join a dedicated specialist team responsible for delivering acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic investments that support the company's long-term growth. /ph3We count on you for: /h3pYou'll take ownership of significant elements of live transactions while working alongside experienced colleagues on some of the company's most important strategic projects. /ph3Your responsibilities will include: /h3ullipLeading legal workstreams on domestic and international MA transactions. /p /lilipManaging legal due diligence and coordinating specialist legal input across multiple jurisdictions. /p /lilipDrafting and negotiating key transaction documentation and ancillary agreements (NDAs, TSAs, etc.). /p /lilipSupporting transaction structuring and identifying practical solutions to legal risks. /p /lilipManaging internal stakeholders across MA Execution, Corporate Strategy, Tax, Treasury, Finance, HR, IT, Compliance and other functions throughout the deal lifecycle. /p /lilipCoordinating signing and closing activities. /p /lilipSupporting post-closing integration, corporate reorganisations, carveout transactions and other ongoing transaction matters. /p /lilipWorking closely with external counsel and assuming responsibility for transaction leadership. /p /li /ulpYou’ll also have the opportunity to independently lead selected acquisitions and strategic projects. /ph3You can count on us for: /h3ullipThis is an opportunity to move beyond traditional legal execution and become a strategic adviser to the business. /p /lilipYou'll help deliver transactions that shape the company's future, work alongside experienced executives on high-profile strategic initiatives and join a best-in-class specialist MA legal function. /p /li /ulh3You will bring: /h3ullip5–7 years' post-qualification experience in corporate law and MA. /p /lilipExperience gained within a leading international law firm. /p /lilipStrong technical MA skills, including drafting, due diligence and transaction management. /p /lilipExperience working on sophisticated domestic or cross-border transactions. /p /lilipExcellent project management and organisational skills. /p /lilipCommercial curiosity and an interest in understanding how transactions create long‑term business value. /p /lilipA collaborative approach and the confidence to work directly with senior stakeholders. /p /li /ulh3You will get: /h3ullipThe Belgian annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: € 113,600 to € 142,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification, and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
