pbDuration: /bInitial 12 months with extension potential /p pThe Client is developing advanced robotic systems that combine intelligent software, autonomy, perception, and industrial automation. We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the development of scalable robotic software platforms and mission-critical applications. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pYou will work closely with robotics, controls and product teams to design, develop and maintain software components that power next-generation robotic solutions. This is a hands-on engineering position suited to a contractor who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop robust software applications in C++ and/or Python. /li liDesign and implement APIs, backend services and system integrations. /li liCollaborate with robotics, controls and embedded teams. /li liSupport testing, debugging and performance optimisation. /li liContribute to software architecture decisions and code reviews. /li liDevelop automated tests and CI/CD processes. /li liParticipate in agile planning and sprint activities. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar. /li li5+ years of professional software development experience. /li liStrong experience with Python and/or C++. /li liExperience with Git, Linux and modern development practices. /li liKnowledge of software architecture, REST APIs and distributed systems. /li liExcellent communication skills in English. /li /ul h3Preferred Experience /h3 ul liRobotics, automation or autonomous systems. /li liCloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP). /li liDocker and Kubernetes. /li liComputer vision, AI or machine learning exposure. /li /ul
