Our client, a leading organization in the utilities sector, is looking for a professional to transform business needs into valuable data-driven solutions. This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to design and evolve high-quality data products within a modern platform environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and experts to gather, refine, and formalize complex reporting and analytics requirements.
- Produce and maintain detailed functional designs, business rules, and technical specifications for data solutions.
- Design logical data models and define source-to-target mappings for enterprise data warehouses and datamarts.
- Conduct data profiling and analysis on operational sources to identify and resolve quality issues and ensure data integrity.
- Define and execute functional tests to validate that implemented solutions meet business expectations and security standards.
- Provide functional expertise and recommendations to project managers, assisting with effort estimation and risk assessment.
- 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics environments.
- 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Consultant within data-focused projects.
- Expertise in Power BI , SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) , and SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA) .
- Extensive experience with business requirements gathering and producing Functional Design Documents (FDD) .
- Proven experience in Logistic reporting on SAP S/4HANA .
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling tools like Erwin Data Modeler , including dimensional modeling and star schemas .
- Demonstrated experience working as a functional analyst across at least two distinct business sectors.
- You possess a Master's Degree in a relevant field.
- You bring a strong analytical mindset and the ability to conceptualize processes and present ideas in a structured way.
- You are fluent in French or Dutch .
Nice to Haves
- Experience with SAS Data Integration or Exadata .
- Professional background in the Utilities sector or experience with Grid Operators (GRD) .
- Certification or experience as a Project Manager .
- Willingness to adopt and learn modern cloud technologies and evolving analytics ecosystems.

- Duration: 12 months with extension potential up to 72 months
