Mission Overview:
Join Keystone Solutions as a Data Functional Analyst on a consultancy mission at our client site. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary agile team consisting of data engineers, reporting experts, project managers, data architects, data quality experts, and AI specialists, working on dynamic projects that have a significant impact on society.
Role & Responsibilities:
Lead discussions with various Subject Matter Experts (SME) to understand their data-related needs.
Identify, assess, and understand business processes, operational, and analytics data flows (incoming and outgoing).
Translate business needs into data and technical requirements.
Design and validate data models in collaboration with Data Architects.
Establish functional design for developments in collaboration with the Data Governance team, BI Technical Leads, and SDO (ICT) teams.
Ensure GDPR and security compliance by maintaining contact with the DPO.
Oversee testing of developed data products.
Inform, train, and encourage adoption among business users.
Your Technical Skills:
Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in data functional analysis.
Concrete experience in data warehouse modelling (Kimball approach).
Concrete experience in designing and analyzing data flows.
Prior experience as a data engineer is a plus.
Minimum 3+ years of concrete experience with MS on-premise stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI).
Experience with Azure Databricks is a plus.
Your Profile:
Excellent communication skills (speaking, reading, writing), mastering both national languages professionally (French & Dutch: B2+ minimum).
Excellent presentation skills.
Strong conceptual and business understanding.
Strong data literacy.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy.
Strong problem-solving, pragmatic approach, and delivery focus.
Team player, perseverant, stress-resistant, and flexible.
Eager to learn and open-minded.
