• Lead discussions with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to determine data-related needs.
• Identify and assess operational and analytics data flows.
• Translate business needs into data and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Architects to design and validate data models.
• Establish functional designs with Data Governance and ICT teams.
• Ensure GDPR and security compliance in collaboration with the DPO.
• Oversee testing of developed data products.
• Train and engage business users to encourage adoption. Key Requirements
• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data functional analysis.
• Experienced in data warehouse modeling (Kimball approach).
• Proficient in designing and analyzing data flows.
• Prior experience as a data engineer is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with MS on-premise stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI).
• Experience with Azure Databricks is a plus. Nice to Have
• Excellent communication skills in both national languages (French & Dutch).
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong conceptual and business understanding.
• High data literacy.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Can-do attitude with ownership and autonomy.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and pragmatic approach.
• Ability to work under stress and be flexible.
• Open-minded with a desire to learn.
