• Engage with business Subject Matter Experts to understand, challenge and clarify their data needs.
• Analyze business processes as well as operational and analytical data flows, including incoming and outgoing data.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional, data and technical requirements.
• Design and validate data models in close collaboration with Data Architects, with a strong focus on data warehouse modelling using the Kimball approach.
• Define functional designs together with Data Governance, BI Technical Leads and ICT teams.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure GDPR, data security and compliance requirements are incorporated.
• Support and coordinate the testing of newly developed data products.
• Help business users understand, adopt and effectively use new data solutions through communication and training. Profile & Technical Skills
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in data functional analysis.
• Solid hands-on experience with data warehouse modelling, preferably using the Kimball methodology.
• Strong experience designing and analyzing data flows.
• At least 3 years of experience with the Microsoft on-premise data stack, including SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS and Power BI.
• Previous experience as a Data Engineer is a strong plus.
• Experience with Azure Databricks is an advantage.
• Strong conceptual thinking, business understanding and data literacy, with the ability to turn complex business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with professional proficiency in both French and Dutch (minimum B2+).
• A proactive, autonomous and ownership-driven mindset, combined with strong problem-solving skills and a clear focus on delivery.
• Collaborative, resilient, flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a genuine curiosity and willingness to learn. Contactperson & Reference
