Our client is looking for a functional analyst to support a range of judicial and identity-related projects within its ICT and information management environment. The assignment sits in a context where biometric capabilities are being modernized to improve the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of identity verification and search processes. Responsibilities
• Manage one or more functional analysis processes.
• Analyse and model end-user needs.
• Collect, document, and prioritize stakeholder requirements.
• Write detailed functional specifications.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and business processes.
• Work closely with developers to ensure technical solutions align with functional needs.
• Define the tests linked to the analysis and specification phases.
• Act as the main point of contact for the assigned functional topics.
• Prepare and deliver user training where needed. Technical Skills
• Strong command of functional analysis methods and process description techniques.
• Experience with process modelling and visual documentation, including UML and BPMN.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Ability to use Excel for advanced data analysis, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with Visio or an equivalent tool such as Draw.io.
• Familiarity with project and collaboration tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
• Understanding of API management.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is an asset.
• Knowledge of IT security principles and ISO-related standards is a plus.
• Experience with test management and test automation tools is an advantage.
• Experience with prototyping is considered a strong asset. Profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with legal experts, IT colleagues, and end users.
• Capacity to translate technical topics into clear, accessible language.
• User-oriented mindset and empathy for user needs and challenges.

• Well organized, proactive, and able to take initiative.
