We are working with a rapidly expanding global accounting, advisory and professional services organisation on the appointment of an Equity Partner – Transaction Services in Belgium.

The firm is continuing to invest significantly in its Belgian platform and is looking to strengthen its senior leadership team within Transaction Services.

There are several opportunities within the practice, and the firm is open to individuals with different sector backgrounds, including:

• Broader cross-sector Transaction Services experience

The priority is to identify high-quality senior professionals with strong client credibility, commercial ambition and the ability to build and develop a business.

The Opportunity

The successful individual will join an established international Transaction Services platform with access to major Belgian, European and global clients.

Transaction Services Scope

The practice advises clients across a broad range of transaction-related situations.

Relevant experience may include:

• Transaction Advisory
• Quality of Earnings
• Working Capital analysis
• Net Debt analysis
• Completion mechanisms
• Acquisitions and disposals
• Cross-border transactions
• Private Equity transactions
• Corporate transactions

The firm is open to both broad Transaction Services professionals and individuals with deeper sector specialisation.

There are currently opportunities across several areas.

Profiles with experience advising companies across areas such as:

• Business Services

There are also opportunities for senior Transaction Services professionals with experience across:

Candidates do not need to cover both areas.

The Role

The successful Partner will be expected to:

• Originate and lead major client opportunities
• Develop relationships with senior corporate and investor clients
• Develop and mentor teams
• Expand existing client relationships
• Build new revenue streams
• Collaborate closely with Partners across Belgium and internationally
• Support the continued development of the firm's Transaction Services offering
• Contribute to the wider growth of the Belgian business

This is a genuine leadership and business-building role rather than simply an engagement delivery position.

The Profile

Candidates should ideally bring:

• A background within a leading accounting, advisory or professional services firm
• Strong Financial Due Diligence capability
• Experience leading complex transactions
• Experience developing and managing teams
• A commercial track record or clear business development capability
• Strong relationships within the Belgian or wider European market
• The desire to build and grow a business
• The capability to operate successfully as an Equity Partner

• Equivalent senior leadership level

The firm will consider individuals with broad Transaction Services expertise as well as sector specialists.
