What am I doing here? As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you ensure a stable and secure Microsoft infrastructure that operates across multiple countries. The systems you manage form the backbone of daily operations — reliability is not a goal, it’s a must. You work in a landscape that’s constantly evolving: on-premise setups turning hybrid, mail environments shifting to the cloud, and servers running non-stop while migrations happen. This calls for sharp technical insight, big-picture thinking, calmness, and a keen eye for dependencies. You’re not just the tech whiz — you’re also a mentor and sparring partner for colleagues. You share knowledge, coach juniors, and help the team improve continuously. Every day, you collaborate with local and international teams, translating local situations into global standards, coordinating implementations, and delivering clear, transferable documentation. Security and compliance, like GDPR, are baked into your approach. You keep an eye on security standards and actively think about how to make systems safer and more robust. You use automation and process improvement with purpose. Using scripting tools like PowerShell and Azure CLI, you make routine tasks faster and less error-prone. You work structured and project-based, always mindful of risks, dependencies, and long-term impact. When complex incidents hit, you’re the go-to person who takes ownership. Proactive monitoring and incident management keep things running smoothly. Azure is growing in importance; you support its management and setup closely with the cloud architect. You contribute to migrations and innovations, always with scalable and sustainable solutions. Quick check: What’s on my CV? You bring at least 5 years of solid experience managing and optimizing Microsoft infrastructures in complex, international environments. Active Directory, Entra-ID, hybrid mail setups, backup and recovery solutions, and Azure cloud? These aren’t just buzzwords to you — they’re daily tools. You’ve proven you don’t just fix technical issues, but also coach colleagues and improve processes long-term. You know how to future-proof infrastructure with a sharp eye on security, compliance, and scalability. You use automation and scripting strategically to reduce manual work and prevent mistakes. Plus, your communication skills flex easily — you switch effortlessly between IT teams, stakeholders, and management, even when things get intense. What’s in it for me?
